We have written numerous 43-101 reports for major companies and juniors. Comments from regulating authorities on our reports have been minimal, typically consisting of the occasional typographic error. Our reports have included properties covering base metal, precious metal, and PGE deposits in the US. See an example attached below.
One of our main strengths is our geologic mapping ability. Geologic mapping, both underground and at surface, is often the least expensive and some of the most meaningful information that can be acquired and is sometimes not given the importance that it deserves. This is true at the property, district, and regional scale. Our President, John Childs, has been awarded the Uuno Sahinen award by Montana Tech of the University of Montana and the Hammer Award from the Tobacco Root Geological Society for his contributions to the economic geology of Montana and his geologic mapping. We also emphasize inclusion of graduate level student research and mapping in our exploration and mining programs. These student projects have provided the students with project support while providing high quality data at a fraction of the cost it would have required. We have worked closely with various universities on applied research projects and as volunteers on advisory boards.
Successful property to district scale exploration program management services have included literature review, stream and soil sampling grids, target identification, geophysical programs in coordination with Big Sky Geophysics, drilling, compilation, interpretation and report writing. Target commodities include precious metals, PGEs, copper and other base metals, lithium, talc, graphite, magnesite, limestone, garnet, sapphire and others.
Projects have included RC and core programs from permitting and negotiating contracts through interpretation and reclamation. As a small company, our tight-knit crews know how to stay focused, keep lines of communication with the client and drillers transparent, and respond immediately to changes as needed. We are proactive on safety on every job. Click below for a press release on our most recent drill program.
We have staked thousands of lode and placer claims for majors, junior companies, and individuals where confidentiality and efficiency were critical. We have conducted successful staking operations in very challenging terrain and weather conditions, including staking safely on skis in Montana winters. We can seamlessly take a project from layout design and land research through staking, filing, and stakeholder communication. Exploration Geologist.
We have evaluated individual properties and entire districts. This has included extensive research and compilation as well as property and regional-scale geologic mapping and reconnaissance. We have created a ranked set of property evaluations for gold potential for an entire state as part of a program to move historic mine dumps to mills for processing. Working with an affiliated engineers, we have used a proprietary algorithm which we developed in-house to establish values for resources and reserves of an industrial mineral for a major company. We have worked closely with our landman affiliate with 40 years of experience to conduct land research at county clerk and recorder offices in the western US. Including chain of title research.
We have constructed geologic models using the Micromine and Vulcan mining softwares independently and in conjunction with affiliated engineers for critical mineral, industrial mineral, and PGE/basemetal projects. This work has resulted in discovery of significant extensions of these deposits. We pride ourselves in our geologic mapping abilities and have found that our underground, property-scale and district-wide geologic mapping and applied research has been a very effective adjunct to 3D modelling.
We specialize in working well with landowners including split estate situations and have established long-term relationships with both clients and land owners. Our relationships with local, state, and federal agencies are excellent. Our approach is to always do what we say we will and to avoid surprises wherever possible. We have been commended for our reclamation efforts and our Montana geology services . We have testified before government committees in support of the mining industry. John Childs executed the first formal agreement between a foreign exploration company and a garimpeiro (small miner) organization in Brazil. John and his employee, Kim Pham, working for a US based gold company established an innovative program in Guyana whereby our Amerindian employees established savings accounts.
